U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service seeks comments on hunting in refuges

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is asking for comments on the possibility of opening nine National Wildlife Refuges to hunting and fishing in the 2017-2018 hunting season. The refuges in question are in Georgia, Indiana, Minnesota, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, and Wisconsin. Comments are due at end of day Monday, Sept. 11. More information on the proposal can be found, and comments can be submitted, online at www.regulations.gov using the Docket ID FWS-HQ-NWRS-2017-0005-0001.
