Conservation groups are offering a $15,000 reward for information about a killed wolf in Stevens County, WA.
The female wolf was a member of the Wedge Pack and was found dead from a gunshot wound May 26. The Wedge Pack consisted of just two wolves, and the female’s pups were unlikely to survive after the wolf’s death.
Gray wolves are protected under state law.
