Sustainable Beef LLC announced on March 18 that Ryan Wagnon has been appointed as the general manager (GM) of the beef processing plant in North Platte, NE.
“Ryan has a very well-rounded background, and I am particularly impressed with his strong, people oriented, leadership style,” said Bill Rupp, board member of Sustainable Beef.
Wagnon is an Oklahoma Panhandle State University graduate with over 22 years of experience in the beef processing industry. Wagnon will be relocating to North Platte this summer as Sustainable Beef prepares to open the facility in the summer of 2025.
The company also plans to recruit senior management personnel this year, focusing on roles such as accounting, human resources, plant maintenance, operations, purchasing and safety, with the hiring of line workers slated for 2025.
