Story Short: OR wolves continue to kill livestock

The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) has announced at least six confirmed wolf depredations of livestock since July 1.

A total of five confirmed depredations took place in Klamath County and one in Wallowa County B (Peavine Creek area). Klamath County depredations were attributed to members of the Rogue Pack, and the Wallowa County depredation was attributed to the Chesnimnus Pack.

ODFW inspected two other livestock carcasses in Wallowa County as possible depredations, but determined their death status to be unknown.
