A 2,000-acre ranch once owned by John Wayne for a decade has come on to the real estate market for $12 million.
The ranch, called Rancho Pavoreal, is located at 43000 Stanley Road in Hemet in the Temecula Valley of Southern California. According to the listing real estate agent, Tatiana Novick, the ranch is entirely fenced and cross-fenced and features a 3,000-square-foot adobe house built in the 1950s, a barn constructed around the same time, three water wells and horse trails.
Wayne lived on the ranch in the mid-20th century and sold it to an East Coast family who lived on the property until 2015. Novick said the ranch could be used as an equestrian or cattle ranch, private retreat or multi-purpose development.
