USDA and the Department of the Interior announced they are opening nominations to fill vacancies in the newly reestablished Federal Advisory Committee to advance wildlife and habitat conservation efforts and encourage partnerships with sporting conservation organizations.
The Hunting and Wildlife Conservation Council will help advance the Biden administration’s America the Beautiful initiative, which expands the conservation of fish and wildlife habitats while increasing access to outdoor recreation.
The council will be managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and will comprise 10 primary and five alternate members. You can submit nominations or comments to doug_hobbs@fws.gov.
