The reward for information on the illegal killing of a federally protected gray wolf near Sisters, OR, has increased to $30,500 after contributions from environmental groups.

On March 10, officials from the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, Oregon State Police and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service responded to the death of a gray wolf. The wolf, a breeding male of the Metolius Pack, was found dead, prompting an ongoing investigation. Authorities urge anyone with information to contact the U.S. Fish and Wildlife or Oregon State Police.
