The Bureau of Land Management and U.S. Forest Service are seeking nominations to fill three National Wild Horse and Burro Advisory Board positions.
The agencies are looking to fill positions representing natural resource management, public interest (with special knowledge of equine behavior) and wild horse and burro research, which will become vacant on Jan. 11, 2024.
Board members serve a three-year term and meet one to four times annually, with additional meetings as needed. Any individual or organization may nominate one or more persons to serve on the board; interested parties may also nominate themselves.
