The Montana Stockgrowers Foundation (MSF) is accepting donations for its Wildfire Relief Fund, which aims to support Montana livestock producers affected by fires.
Currently, donations are focused on the Remington Fire in southeastern Montana, which has burned over 196,000 acres as of Aug. 28. Financial contributions are needed most, but in-kind donations such as hay, feed and fencing supplies are also accepted. MSF is working with local coordinators to distribute funds and supplies and urges affected producers to report losses to emergency coordinators.
Donations can be made online at tinyurl.com/47hzj7e8 or mailed to MT Stockgrowers Foundation, Attn: Wildfire Relief Fund, 420 N. California Helena, MT 59601.
