USDA announced it is making more funding available for meat and poultry processors to expand operations.
USDA is partnering with the New Hampshire Community Loan Fund to make $123 million in grants available through the Meat and Poultry Processing Expansion Program.
The grants are from $250,000 to $10 million to assist independent businesses in building and modernizing processing facilities and equipment, adopting new technologies and training workers.
Details on eligibility and application can be found on grants.gov. The deadline to apply is Nov. 22.
