The Adirondack Meat Company in Ticonderoga, NY, is on the market for $1.7 million, according to a report in the Ticonderoga Sun Community News. The report notes that the primary lender, Glens Falls National Bank, is currently seeking to foreclose. The Ticonderoga facility included a retail shop for the sale of processed and packaged meat, and branded finished products with the Adirondack Meat Company label. It was hailed as a much-needed meat processing plant for the area and was the first USDA-certified processing facility in the Adirondack Park. The facility opened in 2014 and was built using a $900,000 loan guarantee from the USDA. WLJ’s attempts to reach the company for comment were unsuccessful. — WLJ
