Dear Mr. Crow,
I just opened my 2/10/20 edition of the WLJ and right on the front page I find yet another attempt of uninformed Democrats proposing to shut down and “retire” federal land grazing. Supported by the usual anti-grazing folks, re: Western Watersheds Project et al., using the same old insidious terms as “voluntary retirement.” As a former leaseholder of some 200,000 acres, this bill, if passed, will be extremely detrimental to public land ranchers. In my opinion, all folks involved in the beef industry must get on board to stop this idiocy! Grazing of public lands has been shown over and over again to be beneficial when under good management.
