USDA is looking for public input to help plan the new International Agricultural Education Fellowship Program.
The program was authorized by Congress in the 2018 farm bill and will provide fellowships to U.S. citizens who will assist developing countries in establishing school-based agricultural education and youth extension programs.
USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) is soliciting input from the public regarding country selection, U.S. candidate qualifications, and program elements, design and duration.
The deadline for comments is Feb. 24. Information about the program can be found at FAS’s website, at www.fas.usda.gov.
