Reps. Debbie Dingell (D-MI-12) and Jeff Fortenberry (R-NE-1) have introduced the latest version of the Recovering America’s Wildlife Act to Congress, which would boost state-level conservation efforts.
The bill would appropriate $1.3 billion annually to state fish and wildlife agencies to implement wildlife action plans, as well as $97.5 million for tribal fish and wildlife managers for fish and wildlife conservation.
