The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) has extended its deadline for public input on the updated version of its interim rule for the Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP).
An updated rule was published and the new deadline for comments is May 12. The updated interim final rule states producers must supply information to verify eligibility as a historically underserved producer; producers operating as a legal entity or joint operation must provide a list of members with tax identification numbers and the percentage interest in the entity; criteria for land eligible for RCPP is posted by NRCS; and eligible activities available under RCPP are identified by NRCS.
