USDA’s National Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in Colorado is accepting applications for the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP).
The program is a voluntary farm bill program that provides financial assistance for conservation systems.
These could include animal waste management facilities, irrigation system efficiency improvements, fencing, water supply development, riparian protection, and wildlife habitat enhancement.
Producers have until April 10 to submit applications. Producers must have farm records current with the Farm Service Agency and submit a completed application to NRCS to be considered for assistance.
