The Senate Agriculture Committee has announced it will hold a hearing April 26 at 10 a.m. EST on S. 4030, the Cattle Market Price Discovery and Transparency Act.
The bill, introduced by Sens. Deb Fischer (R-NE), Chuck Grassley (R-IA), Jon Tester (D-MT) and Ron Wyden (D-OR) would mandate negotiated trade levels and require reporting of marketing contracts.
