The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has named its new manager for the Grand Junction Field Office in Colorado.
Greg Wolfgang, acting field manager since December, has been appointed as the permanent manager. Wolfgang has a master’s degree in landscape architecture and environmental planning from Utah State University and started with BLM as an outdoor recreation manager in Glenwood Springs, CO.
“We are excited to bring Greg’s talent and expertise to BLM Colorado,” Stephanie Connolly, manager of the BLM’s Southwest District in Colorado, said in a news release.
“Greg has demonstrated a solid knowledge of public land management and appreciation for community and collaboration.” The Grand Junction Field Office manages more than 1.2 million acres of BLM land.
