Reps. Jimmy Panetta (D-CA-20) and Billy Long (R-MO-07) recently introduced the Agricultural Fairs Rescue Act to provide $500 million in grant funding for agricultural fairs impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
“County and local fairs are very important to agriculture and our communities all across our country,” Panetta said in a released statement.
Funding will be granted based on the loss of attendance fairs have experienced in 2020.
