Kraft Heinz Foods Company is recalling approximately 367,812 pounds of fully cooked Oscar Mayer turkey bacon due to possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes, the USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service announced.
The affected products were produced between April 24 and June 11 and include 12-, 36- and 48-ounce vacuum-packed packages of “Oscar Mayer Turkey BACON ORIGINAL,” with use-by dates ranging from July 18 to Sept. 4. The recalled items, marked with USDA inspection labels and shipped nationwide, may still be in consumers’ homes. Consumers should not eat the products and are advised to discard them or return them to the place of purchase.
