Western Livestock Journal is pleased to welcome Hannah Jackson to the team as its new circulation manager and copy editor. In her capacity as circulation manager, Hannah will work to build the readership and circulation of WLJ, and assist current and prospective subscribers with their subscriptions. As lead copy editor, Hannah will maintain WLJ’s reputation as a dependable and non-biased news source by ensuring article accuracy and clarity.
“I look forward to Hannah taking the reins as our lead copy editor and circulation manager,” said Logan Ipsen, WLJ president. “Her background, education and work ethic makes her a great asset to the vision of WLJ. We are so fortunate to have her on board!”
Hannah grew up in Galatia, IL, on her family’s cutting horse ranch, and she remains an active member of the National Cutting Horse Association. She attended Baylor University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in professional writing and rhetoric in 2022. While in college, she was a member of the Sigma Tau Delta International Honor Society, where she was able to present her undergraduate research at the 2022 annual international conference in Atlanta, GA.
“I am thrilled to begin working at WLJ, as it combines my passions for both the written word and the agriculture industry,” Hannah said. “I want to thank everyone in the WLJ office for the kindness they have shown me during my transition to the WLJ.”
