Rep. Lauren Boebert’s (R-CO-03) legislation to federally delist gray wolves, the Trust the Science Act, passed the House of Representatives April 30 on a 209-205 vote.

The bill would reinstate a 2020 Department of the Interior rule to delist wolves in the lower 48 states.

“For far too long, farmers and ranchers have been powerless to defend their livestock from gray wolf attacks,” Boebert said in a statement. “The gray wolf is fully recovered and should be delisted in the lower 48 states.”

The bill moves on to the Senate.
