The Center for Biological Diversity and the Maricopa Audubon Society have dropped their lawsuit against the Bureau of Land Management and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service challenging grazing in Arizona.
The conservation groups filed the suit last November, alleging that cattle grazing on Arizona’s Gila River threatened the Southwestern willow flycatcher and the Western yellow-billed cuckoo.
“For three years our surveys have found cattle grazing tearing up endangered species habitat, and for three years Biden officials have done nothing to fix the problem,” said Taylor McKinnon of Center for Biological Diversity in November.
