Environmental groups recently filed an amicus brief with the Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit in defense of the hunters who corner-crossed on a Wyoming property to access public lands.
The groups argue in their brief that the hunters had a legal right to step through shared airspace to access public land.
“The public—not just hunters but everyone—should have the same right of reasonable access to their lands as private landowners have,” said Erik Molvar, executive director with Western Watersheds Project.
