USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) issued a public health alert regarding potential salmonella contamination in the Busseto brand Charcuterie Sampler and Fratelli Beretta brand Antipasto Gran Beretta.

Sold at Sam’s Club and Costco, these ready-to-eat charcuterie products may be associated with 47 reported salmonella illnesses across 22 states. The affected products, bearing establishment numbers “EST. 7543B” and/or “EST. #47967,” are no longer available for purchase.

FSIS, in collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, is actively investigating the outbreak. Consumers are advised to discard or return these products.
