CSU to host Calving and Calf Care Clinic 

Product News: Health tips for calves this fall

Colorado State University (CSU) Extension will be hosting a Calving and Calf Care Clinic on Feb. 7 at the Kit Carson County Fairgrounds in Burlington, CO.  

CSU Extension Veterinarian Dr. Kathy Whitman will be leading this producer education program, which will cover several topics including dystocia management, neonatal calf health, utilizing epidurals, handling colostrum and stressed calves. Participants will be engaged in hands-on activities during this event using calving simulators. 

The program will start at 9:00 a.m. and end at 3:00 p.m.
