The Canadian Roundtable for Sustainable Beef (CRSB) launched the CRSB Certified Producer Incentive, recognizing producers who invest in certification under its Sustainable Beef Production Standard.
In 2026, eligible producers who maintain certification as of June 30, 2026, or were certified between Jan. 1, 2025, and June 30, 2026, will receive a $400 payment after meeting all qualifying cattle requirements. Incentives will continue annually, with future payments tied to CRSB Certified beef sold and dependent on available funds. Payments for the first year are expected to be distributed by October.
