Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) Commissioner Murphy Robinson announced his resignation from the CPW Commission on Dec. 3. Robinson said he stepped down to focus on private sector commitments, according to a Colorado Politics report.
“Murphy’s experience made him a great addition to the commission and a strong advocate for Coloradans, sportsmen and women, and our public lands and wildlife,” said Colorado Gov. Jared Polis (D) in a statement. “He will be missed, and I wish him the best in his next chapter.”
Robinson’s resignation follows shortly after CPW Director Jeff Davis announced he would be leaving his position to assume a role as a senior policy advisor for strategic priorities with the Department of Natural Resources Executive Director’s Office.
