The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is seeking comment on the draft amendment to the Taos Resource Management Plan and environmental assessment for the Río Grande del Norte National Monument Management Plan.
The monument spans nearly 243,000 acres and was designated in 2013 under the Antiquities Act.
BLM said the amendment will protect and restore monument objects while allowing for the use of lands and resources.
