USDA is opening a public comment period for its new Regional Agricultural Promotion Program (RAPP), which aims to support growth in U.S. exports and introduce U.S. products to new markets.
USDA is using $1.3 billion from Commodity Credit Corporation funds to establish RAPP to bolster and diversify ag exports.
The agency plans to lead trade missions to the following markets in 2024: Seoul, Korea; New Delhi, India; Vancouver, Canada; Bogota, Colombia; Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; and Casablanca, Morocco.
USDA has opened a public comment period on RAPP’s regulations, which will end on Dec. 18. To leave a comment regarding the regulations, search for docket ID 2023-25015 at regulations.gov.
