CME to expand cattle futures price limits

CME to expand cattle futures price limits 

In a May 22 notice, the CME Group announced it was resetting price limits for live cattle and feeder cattle futures.

The new price limits went into effect on June 1. The live cattle futures initial price limit was originally set at $6.50/cwt and was updated to $7.25/cwt. The new expanded price limit is set at $10.75/cwt. The feeder cattle futures initial price limit was originally set at $8.25/cwt and was updated to $9.25/cwt. The new expanded price limit is $13.75/cwt.
