Chicken fettuccine recalled for listeria

FreshRealm is recalling its chicken fettuccine alfredo products sold at Kroger and Walmart due to possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes, according to the USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).

The recall includes all products made before June 17, with establishment numbers EST. P-50784, EST. P-47770 or EST. P-47718, located next to the USDA inspection mark.

The labels can be found at tinyurl.com/bmzdxfb5.

The recall follows a listeria outbreak that has sickened 17 people across 13 states, resulting in three deaths and one fetal loss. While the source of contamination is not yet confirmed, FSIS continues to investigate links to FreshRealm products and ingredients.
