The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has released 13 new livestock loss determination reports for suspected wolf depredations between July 31 and Sept. 18.

These reports confirm that wolves were responsible for 11 livestock attacks across 10 incidents.

Six attacks occurred within the Whaleback Pack’s range in Siskiyou County, three within the Harvey Pack’s range in Lassen County and two from the Beyem Seyo Pack in Plumas County.

CDFW also investigated two attacks and determined one was a non-depredation in Siskiyou County and the other was probable depredation in the Yowlumni Pack in Plumas County.
