Cargill Inc. disclosed it is investing $40 million towards employee housing in Fort Morgan, CO.

The company will partner with real estate development firm Portmanteau Partners to build 150 housing units, according to the Denver Post. Construction will begin soon and the units will be available for rent or purchase in January 2025 at affordable rates, the company said.

Cargill also announced it is donating $100,000 to United Way of Morgan County to work on the issue of childcare access and another $100,000 to the Boys and Girls Clubs in neighboring Weld County for Monday programming through the 2023-24 school year.
