USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced that BrucePac has expanded the recall of meat and poultry products potentially contaminated with listeria to nearly 12 million pounds.
The recall now includes ready-to-eat meals sent to U.S. schools, restaurants and major retailers.
The 342-page list of products includes a variety of ready-made frozen and family meals such as salads, wraps, pasta bowls, burritos and enchiladas, from brands like Fresh Express, Rao’s, Boston Market, Atkins, Dole, ReadyMeals, Taylor Farms, Home Chef and Signature Select. These products are sold at retailers including Aldi, Amazon Fresh, Giant Eagle, H-E-B, Kroger, Meijer, Publix, Target, Trader Joe’s, Walmart, Wegmans and 7-Eleven.
The products were produced from May 31 to Oct. 8 and bear establishment numbers “51205 or P-51205” inside or under the USDA mark of inspection. FSIS said there have been no adverse reactions from the recalled products, but consumers are advised to check for affected items and follow recall guidelines.
