The U.S. Meat Export Federation (USMEF) sent a delegation to Japan to commemorate the opening of its first office 45 years ago.
While in Tokyo for an event attended by 200 importers, distributors, trade media and U.S. exporters, industry representatives expressed appreciation for the business relationships developed over the past 45 years. They expressed a commitment to serve the Japanese market well into the future.
“It’s really been a pleasure to have a cross section of high-level producers as part of the team and helping us tell that great story about production agriculture for U.S. beef, pork and also grains,” said Dan Halstrom, president and CEO of USMEF, in a video message.
