On Thursday, Sept. 13, the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) issued a Livestock Loss Determination report confirming that the Lassen pack killed a 6-month-old calf in western Lassen County on Sept. 7.
The confirmation follows less than a month after the Lassen pack’s previous confirmed livestock depredation on Aug. 15. In total, CDFW has confirmed four livestock depredations by the Lassen pack, all in the past year.
