Bush’s Best, the company best known for Bush’s Baked Beans, has released a new blended burger product.
The company said the new product “looks, tastes and cooks like an all-beef burger, but has less fat and fewer calories.”
The burger will be made of beef and 40 percent mushrooms and beans.
Bush’s Best joins Burger King in the attempt to appeal to flexitarian meat eaters as well.
“The Bush’s Best Blended Burger has the great flavor and juiciness of a traditional beef burger, with all the benefits of plant-based protein,” the company said.
The 4-ounce patties will be available pre-formed and frozen.
