Brazil’s JBS will be filling 3,000 employee positions across the country.
The company recently announced it would be maintaining its more than 240,000 jobs worldwide during the current pandemic, and adding investments over the next five years.
JBS said the company has instigated a number of measures to protect against the spread of coronavirus, such as reducing crowds of workers, removing at-risk people, and environment disinfection.
A JBS site in Pennsylvania temporarily reduced production, but was expected to be back at full capacity on April 14.
