USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service announced 1,634 pounds of beef jerky were recalled due to Listeria monocytogenes.
Boyd Specialties LLC, a Colton, CA, establishment, manufactured multiple jerky products under the establishment number “EST. 40269” inside the USDA mark of inspection.
These items were shipped to retail locations in Alabama, California, Connecticut, Michigan, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Texas. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to the consumption of these products.
The jerky products subject to recall can be found atwww.fsis.usda.gov/recalls.
