Over $100K for Angus Foundation

Over $100,000 was raised for the Angus Foundation at the recent 2020 Ranchers’ Rendezvous, held at the Spruce Mountain Ranch in Larkspur, CO.

The money came from auctioning off donated lots, including a high-quality set of Spruce Mountain Ranch Angus females, a travel experience package to Hawaii, Western-style clothing and jewelry, and original art, according to the group’s announcement.

The event was hosted by the Spruce Mountain Ranch and Tom and Lois Ames and family.

“Thank you to Tom and Lois Ames, their family and the Spruce Mountain staff for hosting an exceptional event,” said Thomas Marten, Angus Foundation executive director in the announcement.

“We are so grateful for an evening of fellowship and fun with the Angus family to support the Angus Foundation and it’s all possible thanks to our hosts, donors and volunteers.”

The proceeds of the donations will go to furthering the Foundation’s mission of education, youth, and research.

“Thanks to our generous donors, the Ranchers’ Rendezvous was a huge success for the Angus Foundation,” said Rod Schoenbine, Angus Foundation director of development.

“The generosity of our industry is second to none and will prove beneficial to Angus Foundation supported programs.

A special thanks to Julie French, Wynn Dalton and all Angus Association staff who assisted with the event.”
