On Sept. 16, the Montana Cowboy Hall of Fame and Western Heritage Center (MCHF & WHC) announced its 12th class of inductees.
Winners of the Living award include: Arvid Joseph and Linda Joy (Lee) Eggen of Plentywood; William “Bill” and Alice Cullinan of Glendive; John L. Moore of Miles City; Arthur Wade Bickford of Havre; Wylie Galt Gustafson of Conrad; Virginia (Mortensen) Howell of Roundup; William E. “Billy” Greenough of Fromberg; Donald Edward “Don” Blixt of Helena; James Eugene “Jim” Carrig of Bozeman; Walter J. “Walt” Vermedahl of Polson; Walter E. “Wally” Congdon of Missoula; and Iola “Olie” Else of Dillon.
“The Hall of Fame exists to honor those who have made an impact in their part of the state and represent Montana’s authentic heritage for future generations,” said Bill Galt, MCHF & WHC president.
