On Monday, Jan. 13, the Colorado Corn Growers Association announced the appointment of Nicholas Colglazier as the new executive director.
Colglazier replaces Mark Sponsler, the organization’s CEO of 13 years. “Nick has a strong understanding of agriculture, over a decade of experience in legislative, public policy, and strategic planning,” said Troy Schneider, President of Colorado Corn Administrative Committee, in the group’s announcement.
“His vision, when combined with his organizational management skills, are the ideal qualities in a leader we were seeking.
I am extremely excited to have Nick at the helm of Colorado Corn.”
Colglazier was previously with the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce where he developed policy solutions to help bolster Colorado’s business climate and keep the state competitive.
He studied crop science and agricultural business management at Colorado State University, and farmed with his family in Holyoke.
