Colorado Cattlemen’s Association (CCA) recently had its 2020 Mid-Winter Conference at the Renaissance Hotel in Denver.
Attendees had the unique opportunity to network with Colorado’s legislators at a banquet, as well as attend award presentations, dive into policy discussions, and connect with new and old friends.
The following is a list of CCA award winners: Outstanding Commercial Producer of the Year, Edmundson Ranches, LLC of Walensburg, CO; Outstanding Seedstock Producer of the Year, Strang Herefords and Black Angus, owned by Mary Strang of Meeker, CO; CCW Rookie of the Year, Lacie Harman of the Washington County CattleWomen; Brand Inspector of the Year, Jim Easthouse of the Larimer County District; Law Officer of the Year, Officer Mark Manuel with the Colorado State Patrol’s Motor Carrier Safety Section; Top Individual Membership Recruiter, Bo Karney; Affiliate Rate-of-Growth, Gunnison County Stockgrowers; CattleWoman of the Year, Sallie Miller of the Weld County CattleWomen; and Landowner of the Year, Howard and Janie VanWinkle of VanWinkle Ranch.
