The Colorado Cattlemen’s Association announced award winners at its 2021 Mid-Winter Conference.
The 2020 Outstanding Seedstock Producer of the Year was Jeff Meyers and Erika Murphy of Coyote Creek Angus, Hayden, CO. Coyote Creek Angus is a registered Angus herd that preserves the heritage of its Colorado ranch location.
The 2020 Brand Inspector of the Year was Terry Florian of the Northeast Central District. Florian is actively involved locally and is always available to educate on brand inspector and sheriff duties.
The winner of the 2020 Individual Membership Recruiter Contest and the S01 Priefert Rancher chute was Janie Van Winkle, who recruited 12 members.
Finally, the affiliate with the highest rate of growth for 2020 was Mancos Cattlemen’s Association.
