At CattleFax’s annual meeting, held in conjunction with the Cattle Industry Convention and National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA) Trade Show in San Antonio, TX, officers for 2020 were elected.
Mark Frasier of Fort Morgan, CO, was elected CattleFax president. Frasier is a cow-calf, stocker operator and cattle feeder in eastern Colorado. He is past president of the Colorado Livestock Association and serves on NCBA’s resolutions committee.
President elect is Pono Von Holt of Kamuela, HI. Von Holt is also a cow-calf, stocker, and cattle feeder. He has served as president of the Hawaii Cattlemen’s Association, chair of NCBA cow-calf council and president of the Ranchers Renaissance Cooperative.
Jeff Sternberger of Ingalls, KS, was elected as the Central Region director, and Jerry Adams of Broken Bow, NE, and Dale Smith of Amarillo, TX were reelected as directors for the North Plains and Southwest regions.
Other directors currently serving terms for CattleFax are: Don Quincey, Chiefland, FL, Southeast director and immediate past president; Jeff Sparrowk of Clements, CA., Western director; and Nick Hunt of Atlantic, IA, Midwest director. Chris Kalkowski of Omaha, NE continues to serve as finance director.
