The American Gelbvieh Association (AGA) named the Blackhawk Cattle Company of Oregon, IL as the AGA Breeder of the year for 2019 at the group’s recent annual meeting in Billings, MT.
Blackhawk’s Skyler and Annette Martin run 130 registered Gelbvieh and Balancer cows and use artificial insemination and embryo transfer extensively to produce seedstock that produce cattle that work for the commercial operator and the feedlot.
