Agriculture Future of America (AFA) announced recently that they will be recognizing three agricultural leaders during the group’s Nov. 7-10 Leaders Conference.
According to the group, Andy Weber, CEO of Farm Journal, will be awarded with the Leader in Agriculture Award, and Garrett and Cara Riekhof of Missouri’s GR Farms, will be awarded with the Young Leader and Agriculture Award.
“These individuals have been selected for their contributions to food and agriculture as well as their support for career and leader development for young men and women in agriculture,” said Mark Stewart, president and CEO of AFA in the group’s announcement of the awards.
The awards will be presented Nov. 8 during the group’s Agriculture Award Dinner, a function of the larger AFA Leaders Conference and Alliance Forum.
The three award winners will both present a challenge to the audience of young leaders and professional guests relevant to the conference’s theme of “Cultivate: Your Roots and Beyond.”
