Agoro Carbon Alliance, a company in the agricultural carbon market, revealed it has enrolled 2 million acres in sustainable agriculture practices across the U.S.

This achievement was accomplished in the company’s second full year of enrollment. The acres are estimated to sequester over 7.5 million tons of carbon, underscoring its commitment to positively impacting farmers, ranchers and the environment, the company said.

“Reaching 2 million acres is a testament to our unwavering dedication to advancing sustainable practices and improving farmer and rancher success,” said Elliot Formal, Agoro Carbon CEO. “We are proud to partner with farmers and ranchers implementing practices that promote soil health, water conservation and biodiversity and, ultimately, accelerating the transition to climate-positive agriculture.”
