The American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) has signed an additional two right-to-repair memoranda of understanding (MOU), this time with AGCO and Kubota, giving farmers the right to repair their own farm equipment.
Along with the previously signed MOUs with John Deere and CNH, the MOUs cover roughly 70% of ag machinery sold in the U.S.
“These agreements represent ongoing efforts to ensure farmers have access to the tools necessary to keep their equipment running, and to keep food on the table for families across America,” said AFBF President Zippy Duvall in a statement.
